Recapture LLC began in late 2013 as a small Photo Restoration service catering to customers in the mid-Atlantic region. Over the following years, our customer base spread across the country. In 2017, Recapture added video conversion and tape repair services to help preserve memories for people throughout the US and internationally. Photography is about capturing a moment in time. Photo restoration is about re-capturing those moments. That's where our name 'Recapture' comes from. We will recapture your precious memories that have faded or become damaged over the years. All of us have photographs that have suffered the ravages of time. We love to restore old photos and bring memories back to life, keep those images sharp, or to restore and enhance images of your personal family records.

Video to Digital Conversion
Our transfer service preserves your old video tapes and films by converting them to a robust digital format. We can salvage your old memories from a variety of video formats and transfer them to a durable DVD, Blu-ray, USB, or MP4.
Tape Repair & Mold Cleaning
Use our videotape and audiotape repair service to fix broken tapes and cassettes. Repair a broken and/or chewed VHS, Hi8, Digital8, DV, or MiniDV tape.
We clean and repair VHS and other videotapes when mold has taken over. If your tapes have been rejected by other transfer services, send them to Recapture for a complete cleaning.
